Develop a marketplace that connected APIs so clients could see a 360° viewpoint of their investments.
Scope of work
Offer alternative investment options and regulated products. We started the project in Mexico, but Zeptos want to expand to all of Latin America. We needed to develop a marketplace to showcase our investment portfolio differently.
The project
We developed the website, which connected with APIs to different institutional companies so the Zeptos clients could see if the company they’re investing in has been sued. We also connected with Forex platforms to import data, among other things. For technologies, we used .NET.
Overall, Zeptos wanted to show investors 360° perspectives of their investment. The platform allowed them to see in real-time and through different modules to get an objective viewpoint of the investment.
Customer Feedback
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We haven’t fully commercialized the platform, so we don’t have metrics to share yet. We’ve worked with developers in the past, and Alset delivered in record time with high quality. We plan to work with them again soon because our experience was very pleasant.
How did Alset perform from a project management standpoint?
We planned to have sprints, but it didn’t happen in the end.
Despite that, they translated our requirements well and delivered on time. We mainly communicated using WhatsApp, Zoom, and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were very proactive and went the extra mile. For example, we had a reviews module, and they created an additional module to administrate these reviews better.
We didn’t ask for that, but we were very thankful for their effort.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could make some improvements in terms of project
management. They could’ve managed our meetings better.
